Bob was born in Rockford, Ill., where he received his Associate’s degree in Business at Rock Valley College before attending Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Ill., where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 1987.
Bob has more than 27 years of experience in financial services, including financial planning, trust, pension administration, investment operations and investment advisory. Bob started as an intern at one of the nation’s first fee-only planning firms, Savant Planning Group, in 1987 and returned to what is now Savant Capital Management in 1991, where he worked for seven years before starting his own firm, The Index Advantage, Inc., in 1999.
Bob was awarded the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in September 1999 and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation in 2010. He is an active member in the William’s Bay Lions.
Bob resides in the Lake Geneva area with his wife Tracey and two sons, Thomas and Parker. When Bob is not at work, he enjoys quality family time boating, go-karting, fishing, and coaching baseball.
